Arthritis, or whatever it is, is much better. I had worsening joint pain over the weekend, but that coincided with my husband feeling sick. I may have been fighting his virus. I had a 100.4 fever the morning that I was most achey, but then it went away. Crohn’s symptoms are a little worse this week; more liquid diarrhea, more frequent nightly visits. A painful hemmerhoid. It seemed to worsen over the weekend too, which again may have been a virus. He’s coughing and feels feverish, I get more diarrhea, which is my typical version of a cough/cold. It has to be really bad for me to get an actual cough.
Now I think I probably need to be more careful with diet. It’s also the week before my period, where worsening generally happens. No bowel pain, though a little crampy sometimes (may be hormonal). Mostly, I feel I’ve plateauted and just want to sleep through the night without having to wipe shit off my underwear. I’m just glad I can walk downtown again, and am not in pain when I wake up. The only advantage of this past month of joint pain is now I truly value mobility. It is wonderful to walk in the sunshine to a cafe. I’ll never take that for granted.
