So I’ve been getting multiple inoculation therapy for the last few
months, adding 2-3 worms at a time. After my remarkable reaction to just 10
larvae, adding 20 seemed masochistic, so I decided on very small
amounts to best imitate what would happen as a natural infection. I
think it’s called “trickle therapy”.
2 did nothing, no skin itch or reaction, but it seemed to coincide
with my turning the corner around week 12. So I added 3 and the
interesting thing is I got my first itch on my skin; for about an
hour, and also felt elated and much better for the week after. Then
I waited a few weeks and tried some on the week of my period, and that
was very bad. Either I got the flu again, or I had a repeat of my
first inoculation, just in abbreviated form. 102 fever, diarrhea,
night sweats that lasted for a few days, then diarrhea that went on
for about 10 days. This also coincided with the first added cohort of
2 reaching the intestines, so was it the new larvae, the old larvae, a
virus, my hormones, or all 5? What I’m bringing away from this
experience is AVOID YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE. Now that I’ve had this bad
reaction twice, I don’t think it a coincidence.
So I no longer can accurately post I’m just at week 17. I’m also
approximately at weeks 8, 6, 4, and 2. Each inoculation brought an
increased itch, until the last one (on the day of my period) had an
itch that kept me scratching through the night. It’s interesting that
the skin reaction is getting more intense.
The other thing I’m noticing is a real uplift for the few days after
each “dose”. I was pretty depressed by the time I had my menstrual
regression; either from the new worms reaching the gut, or just
because I had a taste of wellness that was taken from me, but I really
think I’m noticing a buoyed effect when the larvae are in the
bloodstream. It seems to fade by day 4. I feel a sense of peace,
happiness, and optimism. If one gets a temporary mood lift from a very small
number of worms, one could be a happy, frequent customer! I have been
sleeping A LOT though, and that started with the new worms reaching my
intestines. So despite the small numbers, I think I’m still
experiencing the “eosonophelia” with increased tiredness, but I’m not
getting anything else negative, like loose stools. Actually, they are
improving.
So I am now around 21 worms and am considering adding until 50. I
seem to be turning the corner, but is it due to the original cohort’s
reaching 17 weeks, or the added cohorts exerting their combined influence?
I don’t know anymore, which is why I’m posting my experience here.
I’m looking forward to the next inoculation, though. I think I’m
becoming addicted.
